Live-in Housekeeper

We are looking for a child-friendly and pet-friendly Live-in Housekeeper for a friendly family who live in a large 5-bedroom home in a beautiful village within Hertfordshire, North of London.

The family is composed of Mum, Dad and 3 children under the age of 15 year old. In addition to this, there are also 3 small dogs.

The house is a busy home, with lots of people/guests coming and going, but it’s a fun home and environment to be in.

We are looking for a Housekeeper not only to assist with the household duties, but also to become a part of the home and family, someone who is looking to stay long term.

• Provide exceptional service to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and guests
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising various areas
• Manage laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and organising clothing and linens
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages
• Manage additional household tasks as needed to support the household's overall functioning

• Strong customer service skills to ensure a pleasant experience for household members and guests
• Basic cooking skills to prepare light meals for the children
• Previous domestic cleaning experience to maintain cleanliness and organisation
• Experience in hotel settings is a plus, demonstrating ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Job Types

Full-time, Permanent

Working days and hours
: 5 days per week (2 days off during the week) 7am – 7pm with generous breaks.

Accommodation
:
The Housekeeper would have their own room and bathroom on the top floor of the house.
