Senior Ecologist - Sheffield. Are you a passionate ecologist looking to take the next step in your career? An established and forward-thinking environmental consultancy based in Sheffield is looking for a dedicated Ecologist to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK - from residential developments and infrastructure schemes to nature recovery and biodiversity net gain strategies.

• Conducting protected species and habitat surveys (e.g. bats, GCN, reptiles, badgers)
• Producing high-quality technical reports including PEAs, EcIAs, and management plans
• Supporting the delivery of Biodiversity Net Gain assessments
• Liaising with clients, planning authorities, and stakeholders
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge sharing

• A degree in ecology or related environmental discipline
• Consultancy experience (or demonstrable equivalent)
• Strong report writing and survey skills
• Knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation
• Ideally at least one protected species licence (or working towards)
• Full UK driving licence
