Environmental Services Assistant

We are currently recruiting Environmental Services Assistants to support environmental response and cleansing operations across Sheffield.

The Role You will be responsible for responding to a wide range of environmental issues, including:
Clearance of illegally dumped commercial and household waste Cleaning and disinfection of noxious, verminous or contaminated premises Removal of animal carcasses and condemned foodstuffs Assisting with drainage investigations and remedial works Loading, collection and disposal of waste materials Completing basic records, job cards and timesheets Driving council vehicles and carrying out daily vehicle checks Working in challenging and unpleasant environments when required This role involves both independent work and working as part of a team, with regular contact with members of the public.
