Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their on-site engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining, servicing, and improving electrical systems and production equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
Salary & Benefits
* Basic Salary: £37,250
* Shift Allowance: £5,960
* Total Salary: £43,210
* 37.5 hours per week
* 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (rising to 25 days + bank holidays after 1 year)

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance and servicing of all electrical and electronic equipment across the site
* Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs to minimise downtime
* Install and commission electrical systems and equipment
* Support modifications, upgrades, and refurbishment of machinery
* Conduct portable appliance testing (PAT) as required
* Assist with preventative maintenance planning and execution
* Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment efficiency
* Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and COSHH regulations
* Provide guidance and support to colleagues on basic electrical tasks where appropriate
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a maintenance electrician role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
* Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and machinery
* Commitment to health & safety best practices
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to support continuous improvement and development initiatives
