Plumber Multi Trade

We are currently looking for a Plumber Multi-Trade Operative in the Sheffield area to work on a self-employed, long-term contract for a well-established housing contractor, working on their voids and refurbishment team.

This opportunity is with a respected and established building contractor within the housing sector. You'll be joining a company that values high-quality workmanship and offers consistent, long-term work within a supportive and professional environment.

I would be keen to hear from anyone with experience in property maintenance and refurbishment, particularly those who have worked as a Plumber
, Plumber Multi-Trade
, Bathroom Fitter
, Multi-Skilled Operative
, or in a similar role.

• Carrying out all aspects of domestic plumbing maintenance and repairs within void and tenanted properties
• Installing, repairing, and replacing sanitary ware including toilets, basins, baths, showers, and sinks
• Completing bathroom refurbishment works, including first and second-fix plumbing
• Diagnosing and rectifying leaks, blockages, and general plumbing faults
• Carrying out pipework repairs and installations, including copper and plastic systems
• Undertaking basic tiling, patch plastering, and making good following plumbing works
• Completing minor carpentry and general multi-trade repairs where required
• Carrying out silicone sealing, boxing-in, and finishing works to a high standard
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards

• Their own van
• Their own tools
• Proven experience in domestic plumbing and property maintenance
• Experience working within social housing, void properties, or refurbishment projects
• A strong multi-trade background with the ability to complete associated repair works
• Relevant plumbing qualifications (desirable but not essential with proven experience)

• Weekly pay (CIS or PAYE available)
• All materials delivered to site
• Local work across Sheffield and surrounding areas
• 40‑hour working week with overtime opportunities
• Long‑term contract work
• Opportunity to go permanent if desired
• Immediate start available

All properties are located within the Sheffield area and consist of void and occupied social housing properties.
