Mechanical Fitter

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter for an ongoing contract based with our client in Sheffield.

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Rate of pay £20.00 per hour (All hours)

This will be working Monday to Thursday 7:00am till 5:00pm and Friday 7:00am till 12pm

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and fit recycling machinery from engineering drawings.
Carry out mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
Install and align mechanical components, including gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Work safely and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
Maintain high standards of quality and housekeeping.
Support machine testing and commissioning when required.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong mechanical assembly and fault-finding skills.

Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering
