The RoleAs an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial air conditioning systems across a wide range of customer sites.
Working with hotels, offices, retail stores, restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities and industrial premises, you'll ensure customers receive reliable, energy-efficient climate control solutions.
No two days are the same, with a mix of planned maintenance, new installations, reactive repairs and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities- Install, service and maintain commercial air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
- Commission new air conditioning installations.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
- Complete service reports and installation documentation accurately.
- Advise customers on equipment performance and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with current health & safety regulations.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach on every job.
- Represent DS Refrigeration to the highest standard.
- F-Gas Certification.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with commercial air conditioning systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with split systems, multi-split, VRF/VRV and packaged air conditioning units.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- CSR Card.
- Experience with ventilation and heat pump systems.
- Electrical fault-finding experience.
- Manufacturer training or certifications.
