Salary: £38,500 (pro rata to hour employed) which equates to £19,250 + company van + 16 days annual leave + excellent benefits

Looking for a flexible part-time role with a leading employer?

Morgan Sindall Property Services is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Engineer to join our Sheffield Family Court contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional looking for a better work-life balance without compromising on benefits, job security or career development.

Working within a stable and well-established contract, you'll play a key role in delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responsive repairs and general building maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe, functional and maintained to the highest standards.

About the Role

Based from our office in Sheffield, you'll carry out a variety of maintenance and repair activities across the Sheffield Courts estate.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) works
  • Plumbing, painting and decorating repairs
  • Tiling and general building fabric maintenance
  • Responsive repairs and planned maintenance works
  • Completing work efficiently using a handheld device (full training provided)
  • Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high health and safety standards

You'll spend approximately 5 hours per day carrying out PPM activities within the Sheffield Courts building as part of a supportive and professional team.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • A recognised trade qualification such as City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative or equivalent
  • Experience in building maintenance, repairs or property services
  • Knowledge of building fabric and building services systems
  • A customer-focused approach with pride in delivering work right first time
  • Blue CSCS Card (desirable)
  • Experience working within occupied buildings and public sector environments (desirable)
  • A full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months, is required, as a company vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
