Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Field Service / Weighing Equipment)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum, plus company van for personal use, international travel allowances, training, progression opportunities.
Role OverviewAre you a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills, looking to join one of the UK’s leading independent manufacturers of industrial weighing and inspection equipment? We are a growing business offering specialist product training, generous travel allowances, company van for personal use, and excellent progression opportunities.
Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and calibration of industrial weighing equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and electromechanical faults at customer sites
- Install, commission and test new weighing systems and associated equipment
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with UKAS and ISO
9001 quality standards - Provide first‑class technical support and customer service
- Travel throughout the UK with occasional international travel (travel allowances provided)
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Background as a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK with occasional international travel
- Company van for personal use
- International travel allowances
