Position: Structured Cabling Engineer With DBS

Overview

DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced data cabling engineer in Sheffield on behalf of a national structured cabling contractor.

Responsibilities

The cabling engineers on this project will be carrying out wifi network upgrades adding new wireless access points and data cabling to existing network infrastructure. Predominantly CAT6 and containment.

Requirements

Hold a valid ECS/Equivalent structured cabling/comms industry related card or CSCS
Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience
Be able to provide relevant work references and proof of right to work in the UK () prior to start
Have their own PPE and hand tools including termination kit and drill(s)

Contract and Schedule

8 hour day shifts Monday to Friday

Contract date: 20/07/2026

Duration: 4 weeks initially

With potential continuation on later projects following completion
