HGV / LCV Technician - 4-Day Back Shift
Are you an experienced HGV or LCV Technician looking for a permanent 4-day working week and a consistent back shift?

We're recruiting for a skilled HGV / LCV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of commercial vehicles and trailers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking for a 40-hour week over 4 days, with a 1:30pm start and midnight finish.

The Role
As an HGV / LCV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing commercial vehicles and trailers.

Your duties will include:

· Routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance

· HGV and LCV mechanical repairs

· Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis

· Defect repairs and preventative maintenance

· Working on franchised and non-franchised commercial vehicles

· Trailer maintenance and repairs

· Using manufacturer diagnostic systems and specialist tooling

· Completing job cards, service sheets and online maintenance records

· Ensuring all work is completed safely and to industry standards

About You
We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician with:

· Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role

· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - essential

· Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

· Experience servicing and repairing commercial vehicles

· Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability

· High standards of workmanship

· Reliable and professional approach

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team

· HGV Licence - desirable~

Experience across both HGV and LCV vehicles would be advantageous, but strong experience in either area will be considered.
