Key Responsibilities
* Reading Drawings:
Interpreting technical blueprints, design briefs, and architectural specifications.
* Measuring and Cutting:
Calculating precise dimensions and cutting, shaping, and smoothing timber, MDF, and plywood.
* Manufacturing Items:
Constructing items in a workshop environment—such as doors, windows, staircases, cabinets, and custom furniture—traditionally using interlocking joints
* Assembling Components:
Fitting together individual wooden pieces to create finished structural or ornamental units before installation.
* Maintenance and Repair:
Restoring, fixing, or replacing damaged wooden fixtures, frames, and architectural features.
Essential Requirements
* Experience working as a Joiner
* Basic DBS
