Our client is seeking a Controls Technician to support automation systems, including installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of controls systems. The role requires hands‑on experience with industrial automation and a strong understanding of electrical and control systems. You must be able to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams, operate under minimal supervision, and maintain high attention to detail. This position requires up to 70% travel.

Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, actuators, etc.).
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on automation equipment to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the programming and modification of PLCs (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and HMIs.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of control systems.
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in controls or automation environment.
- Proficiency with PLC systems (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
