Technical Sales & Compliance Specialist - Aerospace Programs Responsibilities
- Identify and develop business opportunities in aerospace manufacturing and advanced composites; maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand client s capabilities in design, prototypes, assembly jigs and turnkey production lines
- Present technical solutions - composite moulds, tooling, robotic production lines and custom systems - highlighting benefits for aerospace customers
- Prepare and manage RFQs, proposals, NDAs, statements of work and compliance documents; coordinate contract negotiation and documentation
- Coordinate with compliance officers to ensure ITAR/export control requirements are met; manage controlled information workflows and recordkeeping
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities; identify opportunities for new offerings
- Attend trade shows, conferences and events to promote Client s aerospace solutions and expand the network
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions and compliance documentation; travel domestically (and occasionally internationally) as required
- 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, business development or sales support within aerospace, defense or industrial manufacturing
- Familiarity with export control regulations (ITAR) and capability to work in controlled environment
- Experience with composite materials, tooling or advanced manufacturing for aerospace applications
- Exposure to automation systems, robotic manufacturing, Thermoset and Thermoplastic composite technologies such as PPS/PEEK
- Existing network within U.S. aerospace OEMs or defense contractors; experience in mid sized manufacturing environment
- Bachelor s degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, materials) or related field
