s, a division of the global enterprise CIE Automotive, is seeking a talented Program Manager to join our engineering team

Reports to: Director of Program Management

Primary Purpose

The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of program management from design to the launch of new programs and engineering changes of existing programs. They are responsible for all deliverables, working with cross functional teams to ensure customer's launch schedule and ensure milestones are fulfilled on time. All these tasks need to be completed while meeting quality, tooling budgets and product cost targets.

The Program Manager will hold meetings both internally and with the customer to effectively communicate all phases of the Program and drive all issues to closure prior to the start of production.

Responsibilities
  • Leader / Responsible / Orchestrator of the entire program
  • Responsible for setting up and chairing program reviews internally and with the customers
  • Responsible for providing detailed program information to any & all team members when required
  • Be the voice of the customer
  • Have a positive attitude, encourage and appreciate the team
  • Be very detailed and well prepared for all meetings internally and with the customer.
  • Must understand all steps from business award through product launch
  • Develop road map to improve program margins via VAVE if applicable
  • Responsible for providing all required quotes and timing for engineering changes
  • Follow up with the sales team to ensure pricing & negotiations are completed
  • Ensure PO’s from customers are invoiced on time
  • Ensure internal invoices are signed off
  • Responsible for maintaining program Tooling Tracker
  • Hold weekly meetings and maintain APQP document, including obtaining sign off for all milestones
  • Work with engineering to create M BOM’s, maintain and update as program matures
  • Develop and track program timelines (internal and external)
  • Responsible for tracking status of all engineering changes
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining open issues documents
  • Coordinate with CIE Purchasing on Material Quantities & Timing for Builds and Launch
  • Responsible for managing bank build until E/C is effective
  • Assist Engineers with customer / internal conflict resolution
  • Support OEM Builds
  • Develop & provide prototype piece cost and tooling to customer
  • Work with the pre-production team to ensure orders are delivered on time
  • Responsible for issuing and tracking status of all program related issues
  • Responsible for issuing all required program purchase orders for sample materials/pre-production
  • Responsible for notifying pre-production department of new part deliveries
  • Responsible for issuing all required tool try-out requests
  • Support SRE’s and PDR’s trials
  • Responsible for Production / EC Tooling Kick-off on time
  • Drive Tooling and equipment maturation prior to hand off to production, by closing all open issues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
  • 5 years minimum experience in program management
  • Experience with Stellantis and Ford is highly desirable
  • Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient at Word, Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to manage and track multiple programs
  • Knowledge of plastic, processes, and assemblies of interior hard and soft parts
