Director of Sales
PrimaryPurpose:
Responsible for preparing quote submissions, on time, from an RFQ supplied by our customers. Supporting the engineering and manufacturing teams (internal & external) with program cost needs.
Essential Functions:- Prepare quotations for new business and/or to reflect on going program changes.
- Responsible for cost estimating product piece price changes related to engineering change requests
- Responsible for cost estimating new business RFQs assigned to you
- Responsible for creating, tracking and maintaining piece price gross margin reports
- Assist sales / PM teams with new model quotes / studies
- Provide support for the development and production and execution of company business plans.
- Support launch activities for new programs.
- Interface with customers when needed
- Schedule and conduct new RFQ kickoff meetings with internal team.
- Any Additional items assigned to you
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 Years or more of progressive responsible experience in cost estimating, finance, manufacturing analysis, engineering, program management or related analytical roles involving financial and operational decision-making.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including injection molding, assembly, welding, foam, thermoforming, painting and automation.
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proficient at Word, Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Project
- Ability to manage multiple RFQs, programs and deadlines simultaneously.
