Location: Mason, MI
Schedule: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in office, Monday & Friday remote)

We're seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting purchasing and procurement activities across the organization. In this role, you'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and aligned with business needs.

This position offers the opportunity to gain experience in procurement, supplier management, purchasing operations, contract administration, and SAP while supporting a dynamic manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to internal customers.

What You'll Do

As a Purchasing Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring our operations have the materials, services, and supplies needed to succeed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Purchasing materials, supplies, services, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operating) items
  • Creating and managing purchase orders
  • Monitoring supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines
  • Working with vendors and internal stakeholders from request through delivery
  • Tracking orders and resolving discrepancies
  • Processing and reconciling invoices
  • Supporting vendor setup and maintenance
  • Managing warranty claims and returned products
  • Reconciling purchasing card transactions
  • Utilizing SAP and procurement systems to support purchasing decisions

This role provides exposure to both procurement and finance-related processes, making it a great fit for candidates interested in supply chain, purchasing, accounting, or business operations.
