Aerospace Prototype CNC Mill Programmer​/Operator

Build for Flight—Own the Cut Imagine starting your shift with a complex aerospace drawing and leaving with a finished, inspection-ready part. You’ll program tweaks at the control, set up 3- and 5-axis mills, and validate every critical dimension as you go. This role is about mastery, not monotony.

Impact & Responsibilities Independently set up, adjust, and run CNC milling centers (3-axis and 5-axis) for high-accuracy work.

Read and apply engineering blueprints/drawings to achieve exact specifications.

Enter offsets, refine parameters, and make on-control program edits (G-code/M-code) as needed.

Measure in-process features with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to confirm dimensions.

Troubleshoot machine and process issues; perform basic preventive maintenance.

Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe work area.

What Success Looks Like Consistent adherence to tight tolerances and GD&T requirements.

Proactive program and offset adjustments that reduce rework.

Reliable setups across both 3-axis and 5-axis VMCs.Qualifications3+ years in CNC milling with 3-axis and/or 5-axis experience.

Fluent in blueprint reading; able to hold tight tolerances.

Strong shop math and a keen eye for detail.

Experience with controls:
Fanuc, Fidia C20, Siemens, Haas, or similar.

Working knowledge of G-code and M-code.
