Part-Time Golf Course Maintenance Worker

PAY RATE

$14.45 - $16.17 per hour (up to 1,500 hours per year). Eligible part‑time employees will receive up to a $5.75 per hour retention bonus for all hours worked from Memorial Day through Labor Day. For details, .

Work activities in this position primarily involve the maintenance of the golf course.

• Maintains and weeds flower beds
• Maintains and cares for trees, plants, and shrubs
• Mowing of greens, tees, fairways and rough using specialized mowing equipment
• Operates a weed whip
• Operates a Cushman
• Performs cup placement on greens
• Maintains golf cart fleet
• Performs building maintenance
• Performs golf range maintenance
• Keeps buildings and grounds clean
• Paints buildings and signs

• Must be 18 years old
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work varied hours depending upon park demands
• Ability to traverse sandy, marshy or wooded areas with even or uneven terrain
• Ability to get along with co‑workers, supervisors, and park visitors
• Will be required to work assigned Special Events, Weekends, Evenings and Holidays
• Will be required to adjust schedule to meet organizational needs
• Ability to perform essential duties
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
• Ability to load, unload and move materials from one location to another
