GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIESWork activities in this position primarily involve the maintenance of the golf course.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Maintains and weeds flower beds
- Maintains and cares for trees, plants, and shrubs
- Mowing of greens, tees, fairways and rough using specialized mowing equipment
- Operates a weed whip
- Operates a Cushman
- Performs cup placement on greens
- Maintains golf cart fleet
- Performs building maintenance
- Performs golf range maintenance
- Keeps buildings and grounds clean
- Paints buildings and signs
- Must be 18 years old
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work varied hours depending upon park demands
- Ability to traverse sandy, marshy or wooded areas with even or uneven terrain
- Ability to get along with co‑workers, supervisors, and park visitors
- Will be required to work assigned Special Events, Weekends, Evenings and Holidays
- Will be required to adjust schedule to meet organizational needs
- Ability to perform essential duties
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Ability to load, unload and move materials from one location to another

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
