Quality Manager

Position Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the organization’s Quality Management System while ensuring strong customer satisfaction. This role leads continuous improvement efforts, oversees production quality, and builds a high-performing quality team across all shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all ongoing production quality activities
  • Build, lead, and develop a strong quality team across multiple shifts
  • Drive initiatives to improve overall process stability and manufacturing performance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Lead and support internal and external audit activities
  • Establish and execute long-term quality strategy and roadmap
  • Support program launches through APQP, PPAP, and production readiness
  • Manage and lead corrective action efforts for customer, internal, and audit findings
  • Oversee scrap, containment, and hold processes
  • Lead continuous improvement activities across operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Leadership Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable members of the quality team
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5–10+ years of experience in quality within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in high-volume manufacturing (automotive preferred)
  • Strong understanding of ISO and/or IATF standards
  • Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of quality leadership or supervisory experience
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background check and drug screening)
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
