Store - DET-MT. CLEMENS, MI

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children’s birthday parties, craft classes, and other in‑store events.
• Engage with clients of all ages, creating an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, including face painting and other activities.
• Facilitate and implement party add‑ons such as goody bags, balloons, and other company‑standard items.
• Communicate event details with clients and store team members.
• Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork.
• Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs.
• Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.
• Uphold client satisfaction for scheduled events.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards: set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with omni‑channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance.
• Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink‑and‑safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remaining positive even in difficult situations.
• Cross‑train in custom framing selling and production.
• Participate in daily store cleanliness activities, such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining restrooms.

• Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests of all ages and coworkers.
• Excellent people skills.
• Experience working with children and children’s events.
• Strong communication skills—written, verbal, non‑verbal—as well as listening skills.
• Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem‑solving skills.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

• Work in a public retail store setting, including climate‑controlled areas and some outdoor work.
• Frames shop contains glass cutter and heat press; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

• Regular interaction with the public in a retail setting.
• Potential exposure to tools and equipment such as ladders, glass cutters, and heat presses.
• Compliance with company safety protocols and equipment usage guidelines.
