Job Title: Part‑Time Career and College Promise Substitute

Essential Responsibilities:

• 1. Arrive in a timely manner
• 2. Follow through on the lesson plan provided
• 3. Take and report attendance
• 4. Manage and keep under control up to 30 high school students
• 5. Follow classroom discipline procedures as instructed
• 6. Report any discipline issues or alterations of the lesson plan to the appropriate staff
• 7. Make sure all materials are put away appropriately at the end of class
• 8. Ensure all laptops used are plugged in and laptop carts are locked at the end of class
• 9. Dress professionally
• 10. Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 1. High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2. Must be able to pass a background check

Salary Range: Based on Cleveland's current salary structure
