Position Summary:
E.S. Wagner Company, LLC has an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance of Traffic Supervisor. A sample of the position's duties and responsibilities include:
* Oversee daily maintenance of traffic operations on active construction projects.
* Coordinate and monitor lane closures, traffic shifts, detours, signage, barriers, pavement markings, and other traffic control devices.
* Review and follow approved traffic control plans, project specifications, permit requirements, and applicable safety standards.
* Conduct daily inspections of work zones to ensure traffic control devices are properly installed, maintained, and adjusted as needed.
* Work closely with project managers, superintendents, foremen, crews, inspectors, subcontractors, and public agencies to coordinate traffic control activities.
* Identify and resolve traffic control issues in a timely manner to support safe and efficient project operations.
* Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, changes, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
* Promote a safe work environment for employees, subcontractors, inspectors, and the traveling public.
* Communicate upcoming traffic control changes, closures, and project needs to the appropriate team members.
Qualifications:
* Prior experience in maintenance of traffic, traffic control, highway construction, or a related field preferred.
* Strong understanding of work zone safety, traffic control devices, lane closure procedures, and construction sequencing.
* Ability to read and interpret traffic control plans, project drawings, specifications, and permit requirements.
* Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with field crews, project teams, inspectors, subcontractors, and public agencies.
