Job Description
- The Fire and Rescue adjunct will provide quality training to the community, citizens, and organizations of Cleveland County. The Fire and Rescue adjunct must also provide a pleasant atmosphere for students to learn in. The Fire and Rescue program offers a wide variety of classes that include:
Firefighter, Rescue Technician, Advanced Skill Courses such as Flashover, Aircraft, Portable Vehicle fire and propane props, etc. These classes may be offered at the Brown Emergency Training Center or other local fire/rescue departments within Cleveland County. Potential positions in this area may include:
Assist with CPAT (Candidate Physical Ability Test) Assistant Instructor Firefighter 1 and 2 Qualified Instructor Technical Rescuer Instructor Live Burn Instructor Specialty Qualification
High School Diploma or GED Ability to work effectively and collegially with others Ability to provide a pleasant atmosphere for students to learn in Ability to provide exceptional customer service to students, employees, and the community Familiarity with and appreciation for the mission of a comprehensive community college.
