Mid-level System Admin

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a mid-level System Admin to join the team of one of our manufacturing clients. This job performs activities regarding monitoring system hardware, network, and infrastructure software performance, solves problems, and suggests improvements in a large manufacturing facility. The purpose of this job is to protect availability and security of computer systems and network connections. The individual must be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.

They will participate in the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance is consistent with Company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide responsive technical support to end users through Help Desk operations
• Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, and network-connected device issues
• Support, install, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and printing solutions
• Investigate technical incidents, determine root causes, and drive issue resolution to completion

• Strong technical knowledge of network and PC, operating systems, and hardware
• Strong knowledge of local area network administration
