Job Title: Machine Operator – 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Shelby, NC
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 2/2/3 Rotating Schedule
Hours: 6:45am-7:00pm
Job Summary: We are seeking dependable and motivated Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, and ensuring production goals are met in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is committed to producing quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials and finished products from machines
- Monitor equipment during operation and report any issues to supervisors
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Complete production records and required documentation accurately
- Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform additional production duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to work a 2/2/3 rotating schedule
- Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using measuring tools or performing quality inspections
- High school diploma or GED preferred
