Position: LPN (Skilled Nursing Facility) – Part Time (24 hrs/week; Sat and Sun, 11am‑11pm)
Pay Range: $25.30 - $37.95 per hour

Atrium Health Cleveland Pines is an award‑winning nursing and rehabilitation facility with 120 beds. - Assessments: participating in determining nursing care needs based on data relevant to a patient’s health status.
- Recognize and determine the need for immediate intervention.
- Demonstrate knowledge to document patient observations, treatments, and responses, and participate actively in treatment and procedures, including discharge planning.
- Assist RN with development/revision of the plan of care by providing data and identifying potential goals and interventions for review by the RN.
- Communicate with appropriate clinical staff about a patient’s status if a significant change occurs.
- Implement identified plans under supervision of RN, physician, or other licensed practitioner, ensuring tasks are completed.
- Be aware of patient progress and goals as documented in medical records and report to RN.
- Organize workload and prioritize responsibilities to ensure quality care in a time‑efficient manner.
- Attain knowledge and competence reflecting current practice and perform only nursing skills within legal boundaries and facility policies.
- Document assessments, procedures, patient/family education, and communicate information to appropriate members of the team timely.
- Provide and assess effectiveness of patient/family education under RN direction within scope of practice as defined by law.
Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak English in understandable terms. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch; finger dexterity; critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must respond quickly to changes in patient or unit conditions. Physical Abilities Testing required.

Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing. BLS required per policy guidelines. Current LPN license or temporary license as a Licensed Practical Nurse Petitioner in the state where you work and reside, or for National License Compact states, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non‑National License Compact states, current LPN license or temporary license required in the state where the LPN works.
Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
