Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Schedule Details: Full-Time Weekends Varied Shifts

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

Location

Atrium Health Cleveland Emergency Department provides 24‑hour emergency medical services to Cleveland County and the surrounding communities, delivering high‑quality care for patients of all ages. The 36‑bed emergency department is a Level III trauma center with round‑the‑clock physician coverage, resuscitation resources, surgery and intensive care for trauma patients, and an on‑call medical specialist team for comprehensive, coordinated care. As a designated Chest Pain Center, the team demonstrates a strong commitment to quality care and rigorous clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and clear communication to create the safest patient environment and achieve the best patient experience across the continuum.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
  • At least 6 months of RN experience (position is not for new graduates).
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the candidate practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
  • One year of inpatient RN experience preferred.
