Job Description:
This 13‑week travel contract places you on the Med Surg/Telemetry unit of a non‑teaching hospital in Shelby, North Carolina. As an RN, you’ll handle a diverse caseload, including cardiac, respiratory, and neuro patients, often in a fast‑paced environment. Your responsibilities include interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing non‑titrating cardiac drips like Cardizem and Amiodarone, and caring for patients with tubes, drains, and IV access.
The role involves working 12‑hour day shifts with a commitment of approximately 36 hours per week and occasional holiday work. Floating within a regional network is required, offering exposure to various facilities, and you’ll have access to resources like telemetry monitoring, hospitalist services, and advanced EMR systems. This assignment provides a chance to hone specialized skills while experiencing a hospital culture known for its supportive staff and excellent teamwork.
