RN-Registered Nurse – ICU

Contract:
8 weeks, Day shift (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM)
Schedule:
12 hours/day, 3 days/week.
Pay:
Weekly stipends $1,246. Base pay $504–$518 weekly, hourly rate $14.00–$14.39.
Start date:
4/06/2026.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Valid, active, unencumbered RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- Must have 2 years ICU experience; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
Unit: 18 beds, average census 17, 1:2 RN to patient ratio.
Patient types:
Sepsis, DKA, Substance abuse, Flu, COVID, Pneumonia, CHF, Stroke, GI Bleed.
Key skills:
Critical care assessment, critical thinking, ventilator & central line care, hemodynamic monitoring.
Support: CNA, Charge nurse (24/7), Phlebotomy (peripheral), IV/VAT team, RT (24/7), Hospitalist (24/7), Intensivist (24/7, virtual at night), Telemetry monitoring.
Technology: EMR EPIC, IV pump, Med dispensing Omnicell, monitors Philips, unit-specific equipment Artic Sun.
Floating:
Region 3 (Cleveland, Kings Mountain, Lincoln, Central Division). Orientation: NEO, 2 days departmental.
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation every other week, no call, holiday expectations 75% of holidays for travelers. RTO up to 6 days off, excluding holidays. Shift times 7a-7p or 7p-7a, 6‑week cycle.

Scrub color Navy, parking free, unit culture teamwork.
