• Schedule Details: Virtual Practice Support and Extended Care across Charlotte Market. Clinical coverage includes virtual and in‑person visits. Extended Care evenings and weekends 5‑8pm M‑F; 9am‑5pm Sat/Sun.

• Provide virtual outpatient care, inbox coverage, refill requests, eVisits, and day‑time chronic condition management.
• Occasionally provide in‑office coverage for other providers.
• Assume a mix of virtual and in-person care to maintain clinical skills.
• Work within the Children's Primary Care Division and the Virtual Services Group.

• Perform initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and daily assessments.
• Record findings, develop plans of care, write prescriptions, and administer medications.
• Order and interpret laboratory and radiology examinations.
• Document all patient encounters in an accurate, medically appropriate way.
• Advocate for patients and participate in practice meetings and policy development.
• Provide support for extended care evenings and weekends.

Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling. Must lift and support up to 35 pounds. Must speak English fluently. Must have intact sensory and dexterity functions. Ability to manage stressful situations. Schedule includes weekdays, nights, swing, holidays and weekends, >400 hours of weekend/night coverage.

• Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
• Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of employment.
• Eligible for prescriptive authority application with relevant Board(s).
• BLS required with expiration >90 days.
• Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• Certification in practice area (ACNP, AGACNP, AGNP, PNP, PNP‑AC) preferred.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and prioritization.

• Base compensation within the $51.05 - $76.60 hourly range.
