Atrium Health Women’s Care Shelby OBGYN is actively seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our thriving practice. We provide services in Shelby, King's Mountain, Boiling Springs, and Rutherfordton and are continuing more than 75 years of helping to care for the women in our community.
Shelby OB/GYN is an established practice consisting of 9 physicians, and 9 APPs.
Position Overview- Established OBGYN practice with 4 locations throughout Cleveland and Rutherford counties in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
- Full spectrum of OBGYN and Women’s Health conditions
- IUD, Nexplanon, EMB procedures
- 1300 annual live births at Atrium Health Cleveland
- 9 Physicians, 5 Laborist and Full Scope CNMs, and 5 NPs
- Collaboration model
- Onboarding/training support
- 3 years of APP experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Women’s Health
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; master’s degree preferred
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, Certified by NCCPA
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing is required to start.
- Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program, and/or Doctor of Nursing Practice for Nurse Practitioners required
- Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing is required to start.
