Internship In Plant Experimentation
As part of our research and development activities, KWS is recruiting an intern in plant experimentation based in Allonnes (28). On the ground, you participate directly in sowing, crop monitoring, ratings, and harvests as part of agronomic trials. Based at the KWS station in Allonnes, you work in an environment of selection and applied research. The teams test, select, and improve varieties under real conditions.
Work mainly focuses on different crops such as Cereals (wheat, barley), Rapeseed, and Peas. You work closely with the technical teams, in the rhythm of the seasons. Your role: contribute to the setup and monitoring of field trials. Your missions Setup and monitoring of trials Set up field trials (yield trials, nurseries) Carry out sowing operations, cultural monitoring, ratings, and harvests Apply experimental protocols Data collection and monitoring Collect agronomic data Ensure the follow-up of observations on plots Participate in the reliability of data
Field activities Participate in daily activities of the station Exchange with technical teams Intervene mainly on the ground Profile sought Training in progress Bac+2 to Bac+5 in agronomy, plant production, or experimentation Interest in fieldwork and crops Rigor and sense of organization Taste for teamwork Driver's license B required (movements on the plots)
