Auto Body Technician

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our fast-paced, team-oriented repair center. In this role, you will perform collision and structural repairs, panel replacement, bodywork, frame straightening, and plastic repair according to OEM and industry standards. You'll work closely with painters, estimators, and parts staff to deliver safe, high-quality repairs on schedule. Technicians use modern measuring systems, welders, and repair equipment while following strict safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform collision, structural, and body repairs to OEM and industry standards
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for repair and quality checks
• Conduct frame and unibody straightening using approved measuring systems
• Repair and replace panels, bumpers, and plastic components
• Prepare repaired surfaces for paint and coordinate with refinish team
• Work with estimators and parts staff to ensure accurate, timely repairs
• Follow all safety, environmental, and shop housekeeping procedures
• Document repair steps and supplement needs accurately
• Use welders, pullers, and other equipment safely and effectively
• Support continuous improvement and teamwork within the shop
