Order Planner – Onsite

We are hiring an Order Planner to support the distribution and shipping of product to customers on behalf of the Operations and Sales teams.

• Plan and coordinate the distribution and shipping of product to customers efficiently and cost‑effectively, meeting or exceeding expectations.
• Release customer orders and determine shipment plans based on due dates and customer expectations.
• Track on‑time shipment and fill rate performance.
• Prepare metric reports to show performance versus goals and present findings to management.
• Create countermeasures to address gaps in goal achievement.
• Manage backorders and ensure timely shipment.
• Liaise between the MTD sales team and Operations for order information and part availability.
• Provide feedback to customers on part shipments and order status/tracking.
• Consolidate shipments when available to reduce freight costs.
• Maintain daily 6S activities such as housekeeping, organization, safety, and record keeping.
• Complete other duties or special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent, or one or more years of related experience or training.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good organizational skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Self‑motivated and results‑driven.
• Intermediate PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, at all organizational levels.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Will be working in an office environment.

• Salary range: $45,700.00 – $73,600.00 (annual).
