A Controls Engineer position is available with one of our clients in Shelbyville, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for acting as a liaison between internal departments and the customer ensuring projects are launched on time and within budget.
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
- 2–4 years of controls or automation experience
- PLC and HMI experience required
- CAD and tooling experience a plus
- Support automation and controls projects from start to launch
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Provide manufacturing and start-up support
- Troubleshoot and improve control systems
- Assist with customer support and engineering changes
- Support cost-reduction (VA/VE) initiatives
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Other duties as assigned.
