Position Overview
PNC is an in‑office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture where employees can thrive. As a Business Banking Specialist within PNC’s retail banking organization, you will be based in Shelbyville, IN.
Job DescriptionAcquire and expand share of wallet for Consumer and Business Banking opportunities under $2MM in sales revenue.
Achieve business results through leadership and collaboration with ecosystem partners.
Proactive lead generation and appointment setting inside and outside the branch.
Deliver a differentiated client experience from acquisition through onboarding and servicing.
Lead proactive lead and referral management, grow share of wallet, and attract new households.
Manage and grow Business Banking relationships under $2MM in sales revenue; translate client information into actionable sales strategies.
Leverage tools and protocols to maximize business results and develop ecosystem leadership in and outside the branch as a COI.
Work across partners such as PNCWM, PNC Private Bank, Business Banking, and Mortgage.
Provide client experience and hospitality management, with advanced conversation skills, tailoring solutions to clients’ holistic needs.
Solve client problems courteously, escalating where necessary, and act as an advocate across product and support teams.
Assist the branch team in identifying opportunities, creating referrals, and expanding wallet share.
Engage lobby activities to connect with clients and position PNC products.
Educate clients on financial transaction options, leveraging technology and resources.
Apply product and procedural knowledge to mitigate and solve customer problems.
Manage risk through adherence to policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment.
Participate in daily branch operations, ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately.
Required:
- University or college degree, or comparable education and experience.
- < 1 year of professional experience in banking or related field.
- Ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state.
