Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
Thunderbird Molding seeks a Process Engineer to develop new processes from scratch using scientific molding principles and to continually improve molding processes plant-wide. This role focuses on optimizing production, coordinating with teams, and ensuring process quality and safety.
Coordinate with scheduling to optimize efficiency and streamline production flow
Track changeover times, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase throughput
Prepare, set up, and adjust tools and machines to ensure product quality and consistency
Maintain equipment and conduct routine maintenance as required
Train production personnel on processes and safety practices to promote a safe, productive workplace
Collaborate with engineering and quality control to continuously improve products and processes
- 3-5 years of processing engineering experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules and operating/maintenance instructions
- Capability to follow written procedures and work instructions
- Basic computer literacy to record production information
- Strong attention to detail and time management; good communicator with soft skills
