Maintenance Technician (Maintenance)

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Extrusion maintenance is responsible for maintaining and improving plant equipment. This includes repairing equipment, completing PM's, installing new equipment and completing work orders in a safe and timely manner. This position is a 12‑hour shift pattern.

• Repair of plant equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance activities
• Installation of new equipment
• Train equipment operators for routine maintenance activities
• Other maintenance activities as required

• Welding
• Hydraulic troubleshooting, repair and install
• Pneumatic troubleshooting, repair and install
• Electrical troubleshooting, repair and install
• General metal machining
• PLC troubleshooting
• Communication (verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Post‑secondary education in a technical field (preferred)
• First Responder Certified (preferred)
• Minimum 1‑year industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment

Our facility is in Shelbyville, Indiana, in a great location for commuters and residents of the Indianapolis area. The facility also leverages other manufacturing sites in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Monterrey, Mexico, with corporate headquarters in Adrian, Michigan.
