Yard Forklift Operator Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 19.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)
- Reports to the Yard Manager
- Prepare and load trucks picking up material in yard.
- Unload transports and place inventory in correct areas of the yard
- Must be able to accurately count for inventory
- Operate an all-terrain forklift in yard efficiently and safely to load trucks going out to job.
- Note:
will not be on forklift all the time. Some days will be all inventory of materials. - Use hand tools (band saws, hammers, jack hammer, screw drivers, wrenches, and drills), when not in the yard.
- Keep yard clean and organized-Will salt sidewalks in winter, water plants in summer
Yard Forklift Operator
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand, bend, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs for continuous periods during 8-10-hour shifts.
- Ability to operate an all-terrain forklift
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to do accurate counts on materials
- Construction experience a plus
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
