Position: Business Office Manager (BOM)

Crestview Health and Rehab is seeking a Business Office Manager to join our team in Shelbyville.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall functions and control within the community business office
  • Maximizing cash flow through efficient billing and collection processes
  • Office support duties for the Administrator
  • Accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, resident funds, and cash receipts
  • Assist with resident move‑ins and tours
  • Direct and coordinate the functions and activities of the business office
  • Submit claims for all payer types accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with NH policy/protocol and in compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable
  • Report delinquent accounts to the Nursing Home Administrator
Qualifications
  • Minimum: high school diploma
  • AA Degree in Business Administration preferred, but not necessary
  • Experience in long‑term care preferred
  • Medicaid/Medicare/Managed Care knowledge preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience required
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and automated financial software required
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures to maintain petty cash, resident fund, payroll, accounts payable, and receivable
  • Knowledge of insurance procedures, contracts, and other business transaction coverage
  • Strong computer skills, system applications, spreadsheet proficiency, and office equipment use
  • Understanding of long‑term care rules and regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity
  • Communicate policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies
