We are hiring an Engineering Intern, Recycling for Fall 2026. The Intern will work on projects assigned by leadership to provide experience in international business, manufacturing, and specifically in metals recycling and circularity. This role is located in Shelbyville, KY and will be fully on-site.

• Aid in the establishment of standards and policies for quality control, testing, operating procedures, inspections and maintenance of equipment in accordance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
• Complete an overall project that could be in one of the following areas:
  Shred‑Sort, Furnace, Slagging, Casting, Packaging, Fume Treatment, Waste Water, etc.
• Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of Capital Projects that help drive key strategic business objectives.
• Learn about global and local copper circularity and metal recycling in a practical manner.
• Learn about business and corporations, and manufacturing.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or equivalent discipline).
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Team player able to communicate effectively across all layers of the organization.
• Strong interpersonal, cross-disciplinary, and cross-cultural communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a practical can‑do attitude.
• Wants to work in hands‑on situations and apply book knowledge and logic toward real‑world solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in office, remote, and heavy manufacturing settings.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CAD software is a plus.
