What You'll Do- Design, troubleshoot, and improve PLC and HMI control systems
- Support manufacturing equipment, machine startups, and process improvements
- Partner with maintenance teams to resolve complex controls issues and minimize downtime
- Implement automation upgrades and continuous improvement projects
- Work with robotics, motion control, drives, sensors, and industrial networks
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2-5+ years of manufacturing controls engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley Control Logix, Panel View, Ethernet/IP, Device Net, servo drives, and VFDs
- Experience supporting manufacturing equipment-not IT systems
- U.S. Person as defined by ITAR/EAR requirements
- Local to the area or willing to relocate within 45 miles of Shelbyville
- Siemens S7 or Beckhoff PLCs
- Yaskawa robots
- AutoCAD Electrical
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, metal forming, or roll forming equipment
- SQL databases and basic industrial networking
