Shift Supervisor-Folding Carton Manufacturing

Night Shift: 10-hour shifts Mon‑Fri, with rotating Saturdays

This role is ideal for a hands‑on manufacturing leader with strong team development skills and experience supporting fast‑paced converting or packaging operations.

• Supervise and coordinate shift production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote a Lean Manufacturing culture throughout the operation.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and implement corrective actions when targets are not achieved.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, supplies, and production resources to support manufacturing schedules.
• Train, mentor, and develop production employees and team leaders.
• Support production scheduling, inventory control, and workflow optimization.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Conduct employee performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Drive productivity improvements through Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization.
• Facilitate effective communication between shifts and cross‑functional departments.

• 3‑5 years of management or technical experience within folding carton manufacturing, printing, die‑cutting, gluing, or related converting operations.
• 5‑7 years of supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and team‑building skills.
• Experience with KPI management, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and lead cross‑functional teams effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
• Experience with quality systems and process controls preferred.
• Experience with in high‑speed packaging or converting environments preferred.
