General Production Worker
We are seeking diligent Production Workers to join our team at a facility specializing in the production of trusses and panels for prefabricated houses. Candidates must possess steel-toed shoes, a curved claw hammer, and a tape measure on their first day. The role involves working with contracting companies to fulfill orders for spec houses with similar floor plans.
Responsibilities- Load machinery according to order specifications.
- Mark lumber as per job requirements and read prints for necessary markings.
- Cut lumber and ensure it is sent to the correct production line for processing.
- Work on a team of up to four people to assemble trusses and panels.
- Nail, align, and confirm trusses conform to blueprints.
- Ensure assembled trusses are moved to the finished goods area for shipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and make accurate measurements.
- Experience in woodworking and carpentry, including framing and rough carpentry.
- Capability to lift 25+ pounds.
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with saw operation and wood cutting techniques.
- Experience in inspection, assembly, and building pallets.
- Strong attendance, attitude, and effort in a construction environment.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a blend of a lumber yard, warehouse, and manufacturing facility. It is open air, with numerous fans for ventilation, and garage bay doors that remain open. The day shift operates Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Fridays from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and every other Saturday for 4 to 8 hours.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
