Responsibilities

• Perform repair welds on parts that were missed or not completed by robotic welders, ensuring all components meet quality requirements.
• Use MIG welding processes to produce strong, consistent welds on metal parts.
• Interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings to complete welds accurately and to specification.
• Maintain production pace and meet established production numbers while preserving high quality standards.
• Inspect welded parts for defects and make corrections as needed to ensure products are ready for use in distribution centers.
• Work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment, following all workplace safety procedures.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain reliable attendance to support continuous production operations.
• Participate in and successfully complete a weld test to demonstrate MIG welding proficiency.
• Proven MIG welding experience with the ability to pass a MIG weld test.
• Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
• Capability to work at a production pace and meet output targets.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality with the ability to consistently show up on time.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing safety practices and willingness to follow safety guidelines.

• Experience with machine loading is a plus.
• Previous work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is beneficial.
• Comfort working around robotic welding equipment and automated production lines.
• Ability to adapt to different shifts and schedules as needed.

This is a manufacturing and welding environment supporting large warehouse and distribution center projects. Work is performed on-site around robotic welding equipment and production machinery, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. Multiple shifts are available, including a first shift Monday through Thursday from early morning to late afternoon, a second shift Monday through Thursday in the evening and overnight, a weekend day shift Friday through Sunday from morning to evening, and a weekend night shift Friday through Sunday overnight.

Team members wear appropriate industrial and welding attire, including protective gear suitable for working with welding equipment and machinery, and work in a fast-paced setting focused on meeting production goals.

This is a Contract position based out of Shelbyville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
