Key Responsibilities- Coaching & Instruction:
Design and implement workouts for sprinters and jumpers; teach proper techniques to maximize performance and prevent injuries. - Meet Management:
Assist at meets by managing event check-ins, warming up athletes, and providing technical feedback during competition. - Athlete Development:
Focus on skill acquisition for sprints, relays, and jumps. - Administration:
Assist with team, inventory, and facility maintenance; ensure compliance with school, district, and athletic association rules.
- Experience:
Previous experience coaching or competing in track and field, specifically with sprints and jumps preferred. - Knowledge:
Strong understanding of technical aspects for sprinting, relays, and jump mechanics.
Salary: Will be according to the District Stipend Schedule.
