• Program Leadership: Oversee all cheerleading operations, including developing a positive team culture, setting goals, and implementing safety procedures.
• Skill Development & Performance: Plan and conduct practices focusing on technique, tumbling, and conditioning. Choreograph routines for games, pep assemblies, and competitions.
• Administration & Compliance: Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic association rules. Monitor student eligibility, grades, and attendance.
• Event Management: Schedule and supervise games, competitions, and appearances.
• Logistics & Budget: Manage the cheer budget, including fundraising, purchasing uniforms/equipment, and managing team inventory.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with athletic directors, parents, and school administration.
• Mentorship: Mentor, discipline, and counsel student-athletes.

• Experience: Previous coaching experience (typically 1–3 years) or a strong background in competitive cheerleading.
• Leadership: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups (students, parents, staff).
• Knowledge: Expertise in cheer techniques, safety, and competition rules.

Salary will be according to the District Stipend Schedule.
