Overview
This Senior Accountant role offers exposure to complex accounting matters within a growing, publicly traded company, with meaningful involvement in M&A, investments, and enterprise-wide initiatives. The position is well suited for someone with a strong technical accounting foundation who is looking to broaden their impact, gain business exposure, and continue developing beyond traditional audit or compliance-focused responsibilities.
Compensation- $100,000–$110,000 base salary
- 5% annual bonus
Shelton, CT Area (hybrid)

- Broad technical scope across purchase accounting, consolidations, and valuations
- Regular collaboration with senior finance leadership and cross-functional partners including legal, treasury, and risk
- Participation in ERP implementation and process improvement initiatives
- Clear performance-based growth path, with advancement tied to technical strength and CPA completion
- Lead technical accounting work streams for M&A transactions, including opening balance sheets and purchase price allocations
- Prepare and review accounting analysis for joint ventures, investments, and asset valuations
- Partner with legal, treasury, risk, and valuation teams to resolve complex accounting matters and support new standard adoption
- Contribute to consolidation, reporting, and accounting policy enhancements, particularly in support of ERP rollout
- Serve as a technical accounting resource, providing clear guidance to internal stakeholders
- CPA completed or in progress (completion required for promotion)
- Strong technical accounting experience, including exposure to M&A, consolidations, or public company reporting
- Experience in a publicly traded company or serving public company clients
- Ability to analyze complex accounting issues and apply guidance in a practical, business-oriented way
