Tax Manager - Public Accounting (On-Site | Southern CT)

Compensation: $130,000-$160,000 base + 10% bonus + overtime + profit sharing

Location: On-site, Southern Connecticut (not remote)

Work Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (½ hour lunch); summer Fridays are half-days

• 70% review, 30% preparation of individual, business, and trust returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1041)
• Lead and manage a small but growing staff (you’ll help hire your #2)
• Maintain excellent client relationships with a hands‑on approach
• Deliver high‑quality tax work without timesheet pressure

• 7+ years of public accounting experience
• CPA or EA preferred (or in process, near completion)
• Experience with CCH, Quick Books, and BNA a plus
• Strong communication, leadership, and review skills

• Base up to $160K + bonus + overtime pay + profit sharing
